A guide on how to earn money online through blogging

So you want to earn money online right? One way to earn money online is by starting a blog. I bet that you have searched the term "how to earn money online" but you are clueless on how you could start.

There are many ways to earn money online and one of them is by blogging. If you don't know, there are many people who have made a substantial income by blogging and some of them are already earning 5 figures a month or more. Some of them already quit their regular job and made blogging as a business while they enjoy traveling and still their blog generates income.

What is a blog and how you can earn money online from it?

That's really a good question, if you search about the meaning of a blog wikipedia will give you this meaning.

To put it simply, a blog is a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.

You can earn from it by providing information needed by the audience, providing solution and offering them a solution (i'll be discussing this later on).

What do I need to start earning money through blogging?

First you need a web host, a blogging platform, and a blog template. It is not really technical as there are services that already have what you need for a few dollars let me enumerate them below. 

• Web hosting - you can get a web hosting for as low as $1.99 /month 
• Blog Platform - You could either choose Blogger or Wordpress (the most popular one is Wordpress)
• Blog Template - you can search it on goolge but if you chose Wordpress you can get wordpress template at themeforest.net

Of course there are free blogging platforms such as blogger.com and wordpress but i couldn't really recommend that if you are really serious on earning money online because you're being limited by using free platforms.

How do i earn money online by blogging?

Once you created your blog, you need to choose a topic that you really have knowledge or have an idea about it. When you are choosing a topic, make sure that you are considering the following:

• What can i contribute about this topic?
• How can i help my audience if i choose this topic?
• How much do i know about this topic?

By answering this three questions to your self and if you can answer "YES" to them, then you are on your way to earn money online through blogging.

Earning money online through blogging is all about traffic, the more unique content you write, the more you'll get an audience, if you can contribute on the topic, help your audience about the topic, and by providing answers because of your knowledge about the topic then the more audience you'll gain.

By then you can start promoting affiliate links, or earn through an ad network like Google Adsense. It's really easy isn't it? Although it may look like it is easy, but reality is an average blog to have an audience could take about 2 months to 6 months. Blogging is fun and really entertaining, but you should keep a lot of patience, it may not produce result right away, as I've said it may take 2 to 6 months, but keep in mind pro-bloggers have invested their time and keep doing what they love and that's to blog for a year or two, but now they are earning 5 to 6 figures a month even if they travel, have fun and even if they are sleeping, it's all about the process.
